Been to many pain doctors! Dr Kohannis the best. His diagnosed my condition quickly. Gave me options which were realistic.

Dr. Kohan is experienced and it shows when you talk to him. He does not try to push you to any one directions and told me that surgery will not help. I did not listen and had fusion whihc made me worse. But he did stimulator for me and now I need less medication and sleep better.

Very good guy and doctor. I would see him every week instead of every month. He has good manner and good people help him too. I like all his assistants.

Dr. Kohan was the only doctor who gave me my condition in a right way. Other doctors told me there was nothing wrong with tme and it was in my head but he sat down and explain how I can have headaches after a fall and have normal tests and all that. I am able to go places and sleet better now with the medication he gives me. I never did good with many injections other doctors did for me for my head and neck pain. He knew the first time that these injections are no good and told me that it would only be adding steroids to my body.

Dr. Kohan is the only docotor I remember that ever sat down and explain my condition to me. Past doctors alwaya wanted to leave the room quickly. He always take time to see me and does not rush out even when his day is full of many patients.

I acquired a serious lesion in my neck after a car accident. A month after the accident, I went to his office because the pain of my neck extended by then, even to my arms itself. It is intereting how some of my past pain doctors were not really pain specilaist. He has had special training in his field. Any so called pain docotor I saw in the Encino area, never had training for it and were just calling themselves pain MD. I would look into this if you like to see one asn highly recommend Dr. Jonathan Kohan.

Dr. Nassos is the BEST, couldn't have asked for a kinder, more attentive and professional doctor to take care of me. And gosh have I had my share of incompetent (read factory chain offices), rude with no bedside manners and yell at me doctors because I dare to ask questions and want to understand what the surgery entails. I wasted 3 months with one Dr. who ended up closing shop (due to some legal issues, escaped that one narrowly!) and another month looking frantically for a new doctor and coming across one who was so old school, he yelled at me for daring to speak and ask him questions... no names shall be named (but PM me if you want to know). What a relief to have found Dr. Nassos! Not only does he take more than 5mins to sit, examine and answer all your questions, he always has a comforting smile that puts you at ease. I needed that especially since it was my very first surgery, and was a total nervous wreck.

This office is always impeccably clean, the staff courteous and polite. The bathrooms are consistently tidy. My only recommendation for the ladies' room is to have a small table where we can place our purses while we wash our hands.

The general waiting area is most accommodating, refrigerated water a selection of freshly brewed coffee, espresso or tea beverages of your choice. Additionally, there's a variety of snacks to enjoy. I particularly enjoy the vanilla latte and peanut butter pretzels.

Dr. Nassos is always extremely pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this office.

LA is the type of town that has some of the best doctors in the world. The problem is, it's such a massive town that finding them is like searching for a sharp needle in a haystack of dull incompetency, undeserved arrogance, and vanity.

I'm lucky to have met Dr. Nassos, because he's that rare hard-to-find breed of doctor who is intelligent, incredibly skilled, and personable. He was formally a partner at a very prestigious practice in Chicago, and moved out to LA just recently after spending time working as a doctor for the Lakers. Simply put, the work he has done for me is nothing short of a miracle; I have only felt compelled to write reviews for two doctors, and he's one of them. The fact I was even able to see him I can only chalk up to fortuitous timing, because I'm sure in about 5 years as he gets settled here, he will grow more and more popular to the point that it will be impossible to even book an appointment with him!

For the time being, however,...

My experience was great. Allow me to explain:
I was at work, did something stupid and blew out my knee. Man, the pain was excruciating. I couldn't walk. I literally heard a popping sound and practically had to crawl to my car.
It swelled so bad I thought I'd need knee replacement surgery or orthoscopic surgery, laser surgery, a polygraph, something! - I dunno, whatever the hell it is they do that's what I needed. I couldn't walk!

My mother n law refers me to Dr. Nassos. Now, I love my mother n law but quite frankly the prospect of her choice scares the hell outta me. I figure I'm gonna lose a limb and pay through the nose. But I schedule an appointment anyway. Deep breath. After all, I hate doctors' offices. No, I loathe doctors' offices.

So, I hobble to Dr Nassos office in Sherman Oaks and at first was really impressed with the environment; a large and roomy waiting room, and a very friendly staff. Plus they pretty much took me right away. H...

I was referred to Dr. Nassos by a friend, and I am so glad I took her advise! He is a great doctor with compassion and empathy. Its rare these days to find a doctor who will take the time to LISTEN, (i might have vented a bit) lol.

Dr. Nassos is exactly what you want from your surgeon. As smart as it gets and meticulous with his work. He is very knowledgable and this is obvious every time you speak to him.

The best part is the surgical center he operates out of is top notch. Immaculate, clean and very private.

I was recommended to Dr. Nassos by a friend & it may be the best recommendation I have ever been given. I have been to numerous doctors for my knee pain and they all said the same thing...wait as long as you can and then have a knee replacement. I am in my 40s and was also told that I would need a second replacement if I got it now. Previous doctors told me to take ibuprofen and hang in there. Dr. Nassos is the first orthopedic surgeon to offer me an alternative treatment. He told me about injections that I could receive in my joints to help alleviate the pain. I opted to try it and my pain was gone. I will still need a replacement eventually, but in the meantime, I don't have to be suffering. Dr. Nassos listened to what I had to say, spent time with me explaining my options in a way that made sense to me and followed up with me to make sure I was okay after the injections.

I 100% recommend Dr. Nassos. He is an excellent doctor!!
